I’ve written four non-fiction humour titles – Universally Challenged, 100% Essex (in 2010, aimed at the then burgeoning TOWIE market) and 2 pseudonymous titles. I find it enjoyable – and easy – to adopt a new tone of voice when writing – even if the subject at hand is entirely new to me.
I’m also good with (and in a sick sort of way, rather enjoy) tight deadlines. I once wrote a book in ten days whilst holding down a part-time job (see beautifully organised research wall!) – just to make sure it hit the shelves in time for Christmas.
